HEATH LEDGER FOUND DEAD Holy shit. My father called me in to read a news story on teletext...it just doesn't seem real. I asked him three times whether it was a joke/fake. I didn't believe it. Heath Ledger was found dead at 8:30pm GMT today, from a drugs overdose...suicide. He leaves behind a two year old daughter. This is just...surreal. So weird. I know that I shouldn't probably be so affected by a celebrity's death, but this is me. I form strange connections to people. And so, as with Casey Calvert's death in november, I'm doing my very best not to cry. I mean, he was such an incredible and soulful actor, and I've seen virtually all of his movies. It just doesn't seem possible. I was up pretty early this morning since I'd been sick
and couldn't sleep and when I found out I started crying.
I've never been someone to cry over some famous dying but I really couldn't help it.
I loved his movies and him being Australian made it cooler.
I still remember when he made Ned Kelly he ran around the back of my home town
naked. I'm not going to forget about that any time soon.

Heath was special to me because he helped me through 9-11. Weird story, but I was about to see "A Knight's Tale" when the planes hit the towers. I was in the movie theater when I heard, and I started crying so bad and calling my family. My brother told me to go ahead and watch the movie to take my mind off things, since I coulnd't do anything anyway (being in Germany and all), so I did. Heath helped me through by helping me escape the brute reality for a couple of hours. I am very grateful to him for that.
So yeah, I cry for him...
